How Come?

How come only the askee or EP can pick best answer?Doesnt seem fair to me to not give EVERYONE a chance!I have seen so many gr8 answers that were not picked.

drix	Posted Apr 7th, 2009 at 8:19PM If the asker doesn't choose an answer, the answer with the highest number of votes is automatically chosen. I find it a little annoying when my answer has the most votes, but the asker picks another, but I guess it is the asker's prerogative to choose the answer closest to what they were hoping for.
