How did you know your job was right for you?
I mean what influenced you decision to choose that career path? Please tell me anything that might help me decide which career is right for me.

When I realized I'd do it for free. I get paid very well but the money isn't important. Helping people is.

I went to college enrolled in the pre-pharmacy program. At freshmen orientation I changed to electronics. Mainly I changed because I had a lifelong interest in electronics, did well in high school at it, and a few people I respected questioned my decision for pre-pharm.

Whatever job or career path you choose, expect it to change. Expect to continue learning until you die.

How do I know this is the right career for me? Most days I love my job, the pay is good. Most of all I know that I am doing work that matters. In a small way, the world will be a better place because of what I do.

I tried it out!! It is always important for me and I believe everyone not to write things off without giving it the proper chance. Whether it is a job, person, food....it can be applied to so many things in our lives. Live a life lived not just an existence.......take a chance and see where the adventure takes you:-)

I thought I liked something in business as I ruled out sciences and english/literature/psycology. I went to the career center and took an aptitude test where they match your aptitude with those in different professions that have been surveyed. A CPA was either at the top of close so I changed my major to accounting and it was the best decision....I love it.
