How did you meet your other half?

I had to go down and fill in on a job for 2 days, a school in SE London. I got chatting to the caretaker and he told me he had just got back from his holiday and started showing me some photos. In one there was a lovely blonde girl. I asked who it was and he told me it was his youngest daughter, I asked was she going out with anyone and he sais no. So I asked for her number, he must have liked me as he gave me it, I rang her that night, met up that friday and have now been married 21 years xx

We met in high school.

He was my classmate in college. We were seated alphabetically and there was a girl who sat in between us who dropped from the course after the first day so we had no choice but to get acquainted. He was kind of obnoxious at first and most of the girls didn't like him. However, since we were always groupmates during school projects, I got to know him better and found out that he was nice, in a weird kind of way. I also found out that he had been attracted to me since Day 1. He started courting me, we were steadies after 3 months and got married after 12 years.

a year and a half before we started dating at an anime convention... timing wasnt right then and we had alot of getting to know ourselves as individuals first. i thought he was freaking cute and hilarious then and still do. only now i have him and refuse to let him go^_^

I met my g/f in a gay club in the u.k. I'd not long been out of hospital and was actually going to try for a gay relationship, as i had just come to terms with being bi-sexual. But i met her and we've been together 8yrs and have 2 kids. I told her i was not long out of hospital and all about my past and she was quite cool with it. So i didnt try a gay relationship in the end..........always wondered !!!!

I rented a room in his house

at a gothic club. We had many obscure things in common. There isn't exactly a story really...sorry to disappoint. It wasn't like those movies where you run into the person accidentally. there wasn't any insane accident that caused us to meet.

He rented a room in my house, I had met him before when he came in to visit a friend and co-worker at the bar I worked at.

We met at work. We kept it secret for a while. When it came out, it was uncomfortable for a while and then I took another job. It was much better not working at the same place anymore.
