I stayed at home alone and played Grand Theft Auto 4 while getting stoned. I live on a farm so there were no drunk people within kilometres of me, it was great.:-)

actually, i spent the new year's eve and morning alone :( (we don't celebrate it here much, in our country)

We were at our daughter's with her family, Skyped with our son & his family, Skyped 2 hours earlier with our friends in Greece, ate & drank far too much, put TV on for the hour & fireworks, & did the Greek thing by smashing a pomegranate on the floor for good fortune, then had to clear up the mess! Crazy but fun! :-)

Watching the 80 thousand fireworks from my balcony. The Las Vegas ***** was beautiful, no crowds. The wee ones came home from a party at 01:15 am. Then delivered a baby girl. :-)
