Negative. Strict upbringing as a Southern Baptist filled my head with nutty ideas about sin and sex.

My birth mother married by birth father out of spite because my grandfather told her not to. They divorced after 2 years while my mom was pregnant with me. When I was 8 she married by adoptive father as financial means to move out of my grandparent's house and support 3 children. I remember how miserable they both were during their marriage, and they divorced after 5 1/2 years. 3 years ago she married a guy half her age whom she can't stand and they fight constantly. All this taught me that if and when I do ever get married, to make sure that I'm doing it for the right reasons. I've promised myself that I won't repeat her mistakes.
