First I would focus on a degree on criminology, sociology, and or anthropology. Or you could go prior military route. Given you don't have any felonies, you need to submit to a NACLC which is in investigation for a secret clearance or an SSBI for top secret or higher. I could give you more advice if you need it.

Is there a certain field you are pursuing? That would me give you a better idea. And ignore the other comments. No offense to them but if you are serious you should seek help from a professional. And if that wacky tobacky comment is true there are waivers depending on you field of profession. Also please no off the wall questions and but I am here to help.

To go into the FBI you apply online but normally you need at least a BA or BS in something. CIA I have been told recruits a lot from the military or want PHD in some kind field.

Here is a link https://www.fbijobs.gov/index.asp look on the left menu where it says Career Paths. I actually got recruited for a position with them when I worked for a different branch of the US Government as an IT Specialist before I became ill. I hope it works out better for you. Best wishes to you. I am not so sure about the CIA.

They come to you in the middle of the night and whisk you away replacing you with a surrogate if you're the right stuff. At least that's the way I've always understood their employment process.
