Beyond the meds the only thing left to do it make the decision to be happy, not the decision to *not* be depressed. Make the conscious decision to be happy. Put away the depressing music. Put away the things that remind you of what you don't have. Get up every day and remind yourself of all the great things that you already have. <br />

Happiness stems from being happy with what you have and not with what you don't have.
