How Do I find people who meet my criteria?

The ever-elusive Nerd-girl.
I'm trying to find a Confident, Accepting, Nerd-chick. But They stay inside all the time, or are taken, or I can't find any.
There are no Conventions around, save sci-fi on the rock which the universe denies me the pleasure of going to, And the girls I do meet are usually so shy It's like there's no one there. I'm Not too particular in the looks department but If given the choice, Not as bony as me yet not overweight. I find a healthy amount of fat attractive. But how do I lure them out? Trickier than photographing a Grue, Rarer Than that ring of luck+1, and as fleeting as whisper on the wind.

NowSure	Posted Jul 10th, 2009 at 12:59AM Little tip: dont assume she needs to be a nerd to love nerds. I've always had a soft spot for the smart guy. And they're usually the quiet ones. But I am a lil bit of chameleon, in that I can blend in with the crowd. hang out with the cool bunch, blah blah. But it doesnt mean that's where I feel the most comfortable. I think everyone should expose themselves to all kinds of people. One day, you'll find one that clicks with you. Rated: +2Vote for this!
NerdGirl	Posted Jul 21st, 2009 at 11:07PM I'm pretty sure nerd-girls are not as elusive as you suspect. ;) I hear they are sometimes spotted in game stores. I'd also suggest the looking around on the internet, since it seems to be a good place for nerd girls to pass their time in. Also, there are always MMOs or Xbox-Live, etc... I'm at home mostly and want to meet guys sometimes, but it is hard to put myself out there.
