well time will help you heal but also you making a decision to move as well is going to help you.You also need to get out and do things and be w/friends to keep your mind off of him.If you don't have any close friends then join a club and immerse yourself in that.Hope this helps.

I'm trying really hard. Have not seen him since Jan. I was afraid to run into him. The nightmare came true.. Happen last night. He loves to gamble and drink. Ran into him at a casino. Hope he didn't see me. I have nothing to say to him. He stop all contact with me in March after I started asking him what really happen and all relationships have problems and ours were fixable.. His reply-- have you ever thought this was my way of fixing it... Meaning breaking up w me. Very cold.

I think in time you will probably very happy he did that.He doesn't sound like a loving person.Sometimes it just takes time and a little of the anger to go away to realize you are much better off without him.

The easiest way to get over someone is to find another someone. That way you build new memories over the old and move on. The worst way is to sit and do nothing. That leaves your memories raw and fresh. Find an interest and get out there. Partner or not, do something to enjoy your time.

Thanks for replying. This breakup is fresh. We broke up in January. Not ready to start dating again just yet. I miss the person he was before he started drinking again.
