Whatever you do, don't choose a side. Stay as neutral as possible and if they ask you your opinion, just remind them that they both have good points, but a friendship isn't worth losing over a fight.

Tell them both that you will not hang out with either one until they stop their fighting. That way you will no longer be in the middle.

You really can't. There isn't anything you can do till they are ready to make up. Best thing you can do is stay out of the middle of it.
