you can start seeing other people i think that is what i would do

By telling yourself what a gorgeous, sexy, smart person you are and if he doesn't see that, then he doesn't deserve you.

Find someone to really love and who will love you even more. Loving someone who does not love you back is self punishing, in other words, work on your self-esteem, even if you start by just "loving" yourself.

by loving yourself and realizing that you deserve a man who loves you and only you.

after a break up I go on the prowl, it helps me get past someone when I know I'm attractive to plenty of other men who are willing to treat me better

Do you REALLY want to be with someone who does not want to be with you?? I can not imagine any possible way to find happiness with someone if they do no truly love me and want to be with me.
