I like my salad made with iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, topped with hot chicken and bacon pieces, crutons and a tiny amount of cheese with a nice salad dressing.

Thanks!

Traditional lebanese-style salad:lettuce, tomatoes, diced radish, cucumbers, whole sliced onion (thinly sliced)

Sauce: lemon, crushed garlic, olive oil, balsamic vinegar
Topped with: Sumac and warm fried/baked (until hardened) pita bread pieces.

I start with the basics: Romaine lettuce, tomato, carrots, cucumber and celery. Then, for pazzazz, I add almond slivers, a dash of basil and oregano, sometimes pine nuts or millet seed, shredded cheese and finish it with a lowfat blue cheese dressing.
