Ask him what needs fixed and how to go about it.
-
Ask him if this is important enough to him to be able to so casually insult you to destroy your relationship with him and for you to walk away from him forever
-
He is wrong,we are all different in one way or another, ignore him and i you cant leave and start your life where your heart dictates.Good luck.
-
Tell him ok just let you know when he finds the right mechanic.
-
I suppose he could be upset.
-
it's a possibility that he may not ever change how he feels, but you are an adult and i would hope that he can at least come to a common ground of respect.
your asking the wrong person i am fast to cut people out of my life. -
Tell him it's really not your fault, and that you must have caught the virus from a public toilet seat.
-
Ignore him, or say that you appreciate his right to an opinion, but he has no right to dictate your way of life.

Life is only what you make of it. When people are blind to the pure beauty in ever living being, they fail to understand that each person is an individual. Your father needs time but you also need to understand that you can't change your father's views any more than he can change yours. In the end it is he that needs to change because you can't change who you are. If his opinions don't change it can hurt, but it is not your fault. You are who you are and you should be who you want. Be comfortable with yourself and others will either adjust and accept you or move away from what they don't understand. Good luck. My thoughts are with you.
