How do I stop falling in love with boys easily?
Whenever I talk to some guys especially for a long time.. I always end up falling for him especially when he's nice and cute.. I hate this habit.. :/ It leads me to tears because I always end up being the "brokenhearted girl".. because I can't help expecting he will love me too.. how do I stop this madness? I don't want to cry anymore.. I don't want to get to the point where I will only hate and be numb..

it might be bettre to learn to break away easy instead. that will let you be you a little more. if it doesnt work, theres still the dont get involved approach available to you..
but, most psychologists will agree, people don't really change drastically like that for no reason or very easily. it' almost impossible.Like (1)

Make it a habit to write the names of these boys down, and see how they would really compare to you
If there doesn't seem to be ANY reason not to go for him, then do so
But this is a breakable habit

i beg to differ... she is human..we learn to grow independent..and we xplore interdependence.... i am sorry confidence..intelligence is not enough for relationships... :) we need emotional quotient for that.....GURL..I WOULD SUGGEST YOU TO REJECT IDEA OF BEING WITH INDEPENDENT MEN!... for you already are independent! but you need care love..togetherness and emotions...:) hats off to modern independent women..who knows how to take care of herself..you are GOING ON RIGHT TRACK! Try to focus on yourself. Figure out what you are looking for in a relationship and the type of person you want to be with. You may find that these guys you end up falling for are not really what you want. Maybe you like the attention or the way they make you feel, but if you actually dated them you would be disappointed
I agree that the answer is not to harden your heart and become bitter. But you need to respect yourself enough to take a step back and question not whether you are good enough for him but whether he is good enough for you!
