Due to blunt trauma injury some years ago, i experience intremittant bleeding from the urethra. It usually only bled for a day or two with intervals of months and evenyears. Lately started agian, and has been bleeding for 3 weeks now. Specialist examination confirmed the injury and wants to stop it by "burning the spot. I am sure there must be a less traumatic way to stop the bleeding. Any guy with the same experience .... advice welcome.

i think the treatment seems less traumatic than it sounds , im sure it will be the best for you. you will not feel pain ....possibly a little uncomfortable for a day or two. like 4vrunique says a second opinion if you are very unsure.

That's right akablondie, sometimes the remedy sounds worse than it is, that's a good point!

I did a little research for you:<br />

I'm not sure it'll help. That diagnosis does sound painful, after doing the research, I suggest getting a second opinion. When you go, don't mention the diagnosis from the first doctor, if you mention it the second one may not consider other options & you would have wasted your time & money.
