    My mom is a hypochondriac so I tend to downplay them, just because it's become ingrained in me to get so frustrated with hearing complaints.

    All men will ignore medical maladies until they think their life is in danger. Some may ignore them even then. It's due to the recently-discovered 'stubborn thick-headed man' gene. Google the Monty Python Black Knight video.

    I deal with it and carry on. I don't get days off for minor illness.

    I kick it in the rear on a normal day. Today however, I have a minor cold on top of some major chronic pain, so I think I will stay in bed.
