Do you go to a place to be alone, whisper, don't put the person you're talking to on hold before talking to someone else or mute so they can't hear, do you show any curtesy?

I talk as loud as possible so they can hear everything I say. I also look at people when I ask the person on the line with me questions so they think I am talking to them.
