I don't get angry often but if I do and if common sense is still in control then I remove myself from the situation immediately. Look away, walk away. The most immediately important thing I find is to look away. Eye contact with the thing that is freaking me out makes it worse very quickly. If it is not possible to look away then something will break. Just remember that the result will probably be either a tedious explanation or else financially expensive to fix. So , look away and walk away immediately if possible.:-)

Seriously. Just walk away and calm down. My friend is in jail for not doing that. Just think what it would be like in jail. You like freedom? Keep it that way. I'm serious as a heart attack here.

I will try. It's just, sometimes it feels like bursting out will make you feel better (well sometimes it does) but then there are the consequences you have to deal with..

I understand. My friend bursted out, but in a real bad way. No one killed or injured, but two serious felonies he's facing. His mind just overloaded, and he didn't know how to deal with it. Don't do the same. It's really bad, and one arraignment after another.

go outside in a deserted place and shake your fist and rage at the wind...

that should put things in perspective.

With the onset you might allow the MAN inside to stop you and take time out immediately.Be proud of the courage you are asked to show at these times.
