Cry and feel awful. Band together with other friends and tell humorous stories about the departed.

Only time can fade the sorrow of someone's passing.

My best friend just passed away (swine flu) on Sept. 25, 09

I let it out. I cry when I need to, I lie in bed when I need to.. I talk about him when I need to..

I don't ignore my emotions but let them run it's course..
I think about him more than I ever have now..

Never forget your friend, think of all the good times you had together, can you have some photos of them to keep. Let nature take its course don't worry to feel the way you are, time is a great healer and will help you come to terms with your loss, we live on in others memories. Take care.

I'm still coping. I depended on him for deep friendship and suddenly he was gone. Telling that to his brother recently helped. I would say, talking to others helps especially with family.

I don't know but when my auntie (who i was really close to btw) died I blamed myself for a long time then was angry for a good while then sorta moved on. we all deal differently but my advice would be to just take one day at a time then hopefully you'll start feeling ok again. I hope this has helped. :) sorry for your loss.

The way you have to. There are stages in the grieving process and you need to go through each one. Time does heal all wounds, but never completely, I have found. However, as many have said, remember your friend and s/he will always be with you.
Words can't say enough to help you with your sorrow.

It depends on your knowledge about death.

Remember the good times. Think of the things that made that person so special to you, then they will never really be gone:-)
