remain polite at all times, smile sweetly but allow my "inner voice" the pleasure of hurling as much abuse as posible, so long as that smile doesn't crack :o)

Put on the fake smile and try to be nice, although I'm pretty transparent when I don't like someone,

I do that or try and not talk to then a lot. I have this one person at uni or catches the same train as me to lectures who will always try and talk to me till i told her that I dont do mornings and to leave me be which she does on the train until lecture where she will talk to me.

Stare at them blankly and make them uncomfortable so they make the interactions with you as short as possible :o..has worked for me with most people so far :P

Making the interactions as quick and shallow as possible. And during them... ataraxia.

They are obviously jealous of something I am or have, so its their problem, not mine.

What I would do is listen to what they are saying and agree with them. I have earned respect frm such people by doing so. In return they eventually treat u and you see nothing annoying about them.
