1.realise you cannot be the reference point for your own life and you cannot set the standards by which your life will be measured,so you need to to identify with a higher being, higher than yourself and your situation.

2.for a boat not to drift aimlessly,it must be anchored.anchored your life to a higher being.

3.pen down your dreams, even the ones you think are unralisable.

4.begin to discuss your dreams with GOD.

5.BE BOLD ENOUGH TO SHARE YOUR DREAMS AND EXPECT QUITE A MANY TO SNEER AT YOUR DREAMS.BUT KEEP ON SHARING YOUR DREAMS TILL SOMEONE COMES ALONG TO HELP.

6.PICK ONE OF THE DREAMS AND TAKE THE 1ST STEP.REGISTER A BUSINESS.REGISTER ON A DATING SITE.SEEK ADMISSION INTO A SCHOOL.ASK SOMEONE FOR HELP.FOR ADVICE,FOR A LOAN.

YOU DONT HAVE TO BE LOST ,IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ANCHOR YOUR LIFE TO A SOLID ROCK.

Read classic literature, philosophy, religion....For example, did you know the Gnostic Christians say we are strangers in a strange land. We are all lost and are looking for our real home? I bet you didn't.

Unless a person has been completely swallowed up by their ego and materiality, there is always the nagging feeling that there's something more that they're not seeing - like Purpose - Why do I exist? What am I supposed to be doing?

Well, I think it was ancient Greek temples that had written on them, "Man Know Thyself". And that's what you are really seeking.

There are those who say, "you are here simply to express and experience Who You Really Are". So the thing to do is to RESEARCH that in every way open to you, and make what you find your truth by living it. It will change as your understanding changes; and its something that only you can do for yourself - there are really no saviours. You can't escape doing this work yourself!

Donate your time and/or money to a worthy cause. REad the book of James in the Bible. Christians are know by the good deeds they do.
Sometimes we have to force ourselvs to get up and do good things but in the end you will be rewarded

Like, I think ,the first poster said, what are you lacking? What do you keep coming back to again and again and again and again and again? What just won't get out of your mind, no matter how far back you bury it? What area of your life isn't satisfying you?

Essentially, though, being lost denotes not knowing where you are. Where do you think you *should* be in your life?

I just deal, because I've come to find almost all of us are. Even if they don't admit or realize, they are.

Find your passion again...Do what makes you feel most alive. Remind yourself of your capability. When your head is clear and you are at your best, you'll find your answer.

If that doesn't help and you still feel restless. Think of the things you have wanted to do in life but "never got around to it". Traveling down a path you've never taken before can lead to experiences you never would have imagined.
