How do you down size pics to put on ep?

i was trying to put up a pic of myself on ep and they said it was to big that i had to down size it how do you do that?

If you google microsoft powertoys you can download a simple programme which will easily resize your photos for the web or email. Its ever so easy to use it just alters the size and leaves a copy in the original file

i suggest using:

on the site, they have a demo on what to do.its really easy.

You need to use a image program BEFORE you upload it onto the site. I've used Kodak Easyshare, Photoshop and iPhoto.

An easy way to get the file size down is to change the resolution of the photo to 72 pixels/inch. You can do that using any basic photo editing software. Picasa is the google photo editing software and picture manager, or GIMP is an open source version of photoshop. Both can be downloaded for free. (Neither is officially endorsed by EP, they are just the free software I have used).
