    We didn't come from "Adam and Eve".
    Ethnicities, in my undereducated opinion, is an effect of evolution. In different geographical locations different traits developed over time as humans evolved.

    Of course it is, we are all Africans. However, for the religious and bigoted (but I repeat myself) who want to pretend their "race" is "superior", claiming that "god made the waters to separate them" is the only claim they have.

    Religious people are not necessarily bigoted. We are all naturally more fond of our own perception of Truth than of others' perception of Truth. They are just as convinced they are right, as we are that we are right, and maybe none of us are 100% right about everything. ..... Mainly, I consider it less than honest to claim that religious people are necessarily bigoted.

    Adam and Eve may have been the beginning, but they were not the only ones on Earth. The Bible is no myth. Most of the stuff in the Bible has been predicted and still is being prophesied. To say that the Bible is just a bunch of stories is like making a mockery of Jesus and saying that him dying on the cross was just a story.

    If only this logic could be comprehended by the faithful. Frustratingly though, the faithful will always refute common sense with things like "cause god said so" ... like your screen name btw, Tool is amazing

    Don't know if can be explained. I figure that as people in clans and tribes spread across the globe they adjusted to their environments (ie. dark skin/larger noses to adjust to harsh sun/take in more air in hot equatorial areas; lighter skinned/thinner noses to adjust to cooler temperatures/ thinner air at higher latitudes). But if you want to get some insight into ethnicities and the path to how humans migrated, go to National Geographic's Genographic Project:

    Especially the 10,000 to 20,000 year time frame (click between those two dates) explaining how we got to the American continents. It's a fascinating story.

    omg the weird notions.. lol. There was a documentary a year or three ago where they genetically traced the ancestry of people from all over, following the genetic changes all the way back to a tribe in northern Africa. There are still people there who show traces of things that would become dominant features in different parts of the world. It was all science based and showed accurately the genetic changes as humans moved further from their African origins.
