I think it's the biggest mistake. I'll never do this.
I'm in favor of it being avaiable, but would prefer to see it minimized a much as possible by contraception counseling and easy availability
I feel it is a very difficult decision best left between a woman, her family and her God.
It's the lady's choice in my opinion.
I feel like considering the protection children have these days abortions are the most merciful gift you can give a child.
No one gives a s hit about what happens to the kid after birth. That's why there's so many child sex slaves. A very large majority of the people who are against abortion tell themselves they don't room in their home for another mouth to feed so they leave these kids to the wolves.
Until we have a world where children are protected from rapists, sexual predators, pedofiles, molesters, killers, etc I feel that the best thing one can do is prevent an unwanted baby from coming into this world only to be cast aside like garbage and left to suffer, thus usually becoming a part of what's wrong with this world.
It's always unfortunate when you have to kill something, but killing is a necessary action in life.
If people would become responsible, we will Never have to ask this question. What its come down to is Maturity... Think Before You have sex
I personally would never do it, but lm certainly not going to judge someone who does. That's not my place. I am pro-choice and don't want the government telling me what I can do with my body.
personal choice some have to make early in life who am I to judge them.
An abortion that stops a beating heart is infanticide, and no young woman has the right to kill a child simply because it inconveniences her. It's a child, not a choice.
It's a medical procedure on a woman and it should be the choice of the woman whether she has one performed on her own body. Everything else is just dramatics.
I think it should be the woman 's choice since it's her body.
It isn't a baby yet, she says
But in her selfish ob<x>jection
She fails to accept the miraculous truth
Life begins at conception
It's her decision to make, you say
We all make our own choices
If that's what you believe, one question
What about the silenced voices?
-- me ♥
I'm in between on the issue. I don't think it should be banned outright, but I also don't think it's this wonderful procedure that should require no more thought or foresight than going for a haircut. I'd rather see more promotion of the "morning after pill" along with lots more education about proper birth control, in exchange for a ban on partial-birth abortions, which are just plain heinous. I just don't like the all-or-nothing approach taken by both sides. On the one hand you have MORONS who talk about "legitimate rape" and "turning off fertility with your mind," and on the other hand, you have loons who think even a 12-year-old should be whisked out of state to get a third-trimester abortion with no questions asked. It would be nice to have some responsible adult thinking on this issue for a change.
It should not be used as a birth control method. Seems to me like there are plenty of ways to avoid getting pregnant these days.
Rape/****** victims should have the option. Since we're not debating I'll withhold the rest of my view. I'm pretty sure a rape baby would not be in God's plan as some nutcases have said.
If you hadn't been raped you wouldn't have had that baby, would you? Therefore it WAS God's plan in the now of the rape according to you. Fine for you that it turned out alright but don't speak for every rape victim please. I didn't say you SHOULD have aborted I said I'd wish victims COULD! Removing a cluster of undifferentiated cells immediately after conception isn't murder as there is no life. Even I concede there is life before birth, but only after a point. If you are going to get technical why not accuse yourself of murder every time you discard a tampon with an unfertilized egg? It COULD have been a baby. Murderess.
You called abortion murder - I'm simply showing you how silly it sounds. It's not name calling since I don't believe the ridiculous proposition. It's sarcasm. The first few cells are not a baby either so what's the difference? From a Hindu perspective (a religion much older than Christianity) the question was already considered and concluded many centuries ago and still held today. The soul does not enter the forming body the first few months according to an Upanishad. No soul, no murder. I'm against late term abortions for the fact they have souls. That IS murder. This is just my perspective since I'm sure you'll agree neither of us stands any chance of changing the other's mind. So I take it you advocate treating a woman having an abortion as a murderess. Should we send her to Death Row and murder her?
You chose to keep, I supported you so really you should have no problem allowing me my opinion any more than I allow you yours BUT not all rape victims feel the way you do. Sorry for your ordeal, glad for your joy.
