Resolved Question

How do you feel about the higher production levels in society with equal wages to previous years?

It is thought that production levels amongst humans are much higher than they ever have been. We are making comparable wages to people who did half the work. Will society continue to function at this pace or will things change? lol NO this is not a homework question...just wondering how people feel.

Thingswill change, they always do but to understand the question you must adjust for automation/computerization and that dirty little word inflation. Ergo, higher production levels vs equal wages is ambiguious at best and theoretcal at worst.

Our production has gone up proportionally with technology. In fact, the income in the US, when compared to the cost of living, has actually decreased in the past several years. I'm speaking about working class people, not CEO's. A dollar today, will not buy as much as a dollar in 1969. I know, I lived it. Many in the US have been led to think that they do not deserve more money or a better life. I see no end to this cycle in the near future.
