i thought it was kinda cute with the first couple hundred monsters. now its gotten to be so many it has lost its cuteness.

They kept doing a lot of the same thing in the games, so there were some I didn't play all the way through, but I got back into it with Black 2, although you can tell they got lazy with some of the pokemon. I mean, Trubbish, really? He's a dirtly old trash bag! I just like trying to get the legendarys, like Giratina, the fairys, Mewtwo, Kyogre, ect.

Indeed the rpg games have the same plot over and over. And to make it worst they keep releasing multiple versions of the same game: gold/silver, ruby/sapphire, red/green/blue, black/white, etc. As for the pokemon designs its getting desperate.

I dont like it (anymore). But it was a part of my childhood, and i enjoyed it as a child, but when i see it today it looks ridiculous.

My only problem with it, is that it has no character development. Ash has been 10 for the past 20 years, & its ******* me off! He has now 4 love interest's. That little bastard better hit puberty & tap one of those *****! That guy has been through so many countries, doing the same old bullshit, just in a slightly different way. The problem with that, is we have no idea how close he is to becoming a Pokemon master. Pikachu has to be like freaking immortal by now, if you think of all the battles he has been in! He's well past level 100! What happen to Ashes dad? This is more of a personal thing, since I like father & son things, but still, it would be something new to bring to the story! The origins of Ash. & no, the first episode does not count. All that is, is us seeing Ash leave his house, & bonding with Pikachu for the first time. & last but not least, I hate Team Rocket for what they are now. With the direction for what they were in the last generation, it fit perfectly well, & was very funny! I loved how they went from a serious bad *** Bonnie & Clyde style bad guys with a talking cat, to being eroded down by multiple failures to a couple of goof balls. But now, there back to being serious again. Thats a terrible direction! But aside from the lack of character development, it's still a pretty good franchise.

I don't bother with any of the games that aren't Pokemon. I still mourn my mom throwing away all my cards when I was a kid. I had a holographic Mew 2 :-(

After the first pokemon games, when I was a child, it went down hill and fast.
