How do you feel about this. I don't have a problem with legal immigrants. But...
I think that illegal imagrant should go directly back. Now there are exceptions when it come to children being raised since an extremely young age. I just think that breadking the law to get into a country means you don't respect the country's laws so live somewhere else.

Immigration has always happened, it still does and it always will and why shouldn't it? It is such a shame that we have to label people as "illegal" in a world that belongs to all of us. People should be allowed to live wherever they want. Immigration does not always happen because people are dying to be treated like aliens. It is always a good idea to look into WHY people feel the need to leave their homes behind knowing that they might even die on the way...Add to that the hostility they might face where they emigrate to. Usually, it is not a pleasant experience. There are all sorts of problems going on in the world and it is only fair to expect people to try and get away from it all. Anyone would do the same BUT...It is equally important for those who move to a new country to try to adapt, work hard and respect the country and its people. If you're leaving something behind and going for something that you think is much better, look after it, appreciate it and respect it and this goes for anyone who moves to a different country. This is one aspect of the whole issue of course.

We have to consider the possible reasons why people would take such measures at that point I think. Imagine you're an Afghan in the middle of Helmand. You WILL want to run away, you WILL seek safety for yourself and your family. Who can rob you of that right? Obviously, nobody is going to give you a visa and put you on the first plane to somewhere safe in the West. You know how the rest goes...It is a shame that in 2013, people have to leave their homes behind like that. Most people do not just wake up one morning decide to leave their countries. It is always good to consider these things also within the context that they happen. Everybody relocates, including people from your country and if they don't have to take such measures to do so, kind of unfair but lucky for them. As I mentioned earlier though, when people relocate, they have to know that they have certain responsibilities....some of those are already a must while some are a result of relocating. And this goes for anyone who relocates, not just those who move to Western countries from other parts of the world.Like (1)

People who believe that illegal, Central and South American immigrants are ruining America are woefully uninformed. Does US immigration policy need fixing? Yes. I could argue that no one wants to pay $5 for a head of lettuce, but instead, how about this point? America declared Mexico as the focus of its drug war in 2010. Since then, 47,000 people have died as a result. Northern Mexico is virtually ruled by narco-traffickers/cartels. Should America offer safe-haven status to people fleeing the crap-storm they kicked up?

I know you can't see it. That's because you don't know anything about it. Doesn't stop you from having an opinion, does it?Like (1)

First of all if the title"illegal immigrant" does not explain it then reasoning is futile. You can't take a country that is in economic trouble and infuse millions of people who will work for almost nothing. That holds wages down and slows growth. Our schools suck and now we have to change things for the spanish community. If we are always stepping back for somebody then we will struggle going forward. There was a process for immigrants that worked but we just ignore that?

Some hardliners might say if they are illegal they can be legally killed as they are not in the country . Who knows , it might happen?

Well yeah, but it is complicated.
Migration should be legal and controlled, but there's been the triple threat of a bad situation in Mexico (which is really what people talk about when they refer to illegal immigrants), a permeable border, and employers ready and willing to pay sub-minimum wage for under the table work.
Now there are around 11 million illegal immigrants the US because of this perfect storm. What are you going to do, round them up at gunpoint? These are people who saw a chance to better themselves and their families and took it. Just kicking people out won't work. It's not feasible.
Things need to get better in Mexico (which everyone needs to help with), and people in the US should all make a fair living wage for their work. If hiring an illegal immigrant is just as expensive as hiring a local looking for work, your problem solves itself.
