I remember when polio and TB were making their rounds. The vaccinations/vaccines stopped them. When the small pox vaccinations came out, people thronged to get them for themselves and their kids. I had mumps - it was not pleasant.

Autism is a genetic disorder. Because there is no other apparent reason for it to occur, the vaccinations get the blame. It should be hard for a parent to see their normal baby all of a sudden begin to have problems for no apparent reason. However, as the baby's brain function develops, those autistic leaning genes begin to influence the development of the brain. It is sad for the child and the parents. But I must say, that parents of autistic kids, on a whole, are the most loving, caring, and patient people on the planet.

Autism is a different architecture of the human brain and is written in the genetic code. It's not a disease that you can catch. It's a result of a long evolution and will not appear by an accident.

I vote for, any benefits greatly outweigh any risks ( sounds like a quick flippant answer now but was an issue considered in depth a few years ago)

That is really ridiculous! If that were the case then every person in America would have autism. Two of my kids have autism. I do not believe it is because of vaccines. People are welcome to believe this however. If you want your kids to die of whooping cough or contract Polio then by all means don't vaccinate them. Just do me one favor keep them the hell out of public school where they can infect others. The rest of us should not have to pay for this stupidity.

I am against it, although both of my children were vaccinated over 15 years ago, if I knew then what I know now, I would not have had it done. I do believe there is a link, although fortunately both my children did not have any serious side effects. Over the last 10 years, I have become more and more concerned about the whole vaccination process, and the trillions of pounds and dollars that are being made by large pharmaceutical companies in the name of "medicine". Many of these companies carry out their own "trials" and side effects of drugs are often ignored, or they have no data, as many of these drugs have an accumulative effect in the body, and can take many years before the side effects are displayed. These companies are not interested in individuals, who are often dismissed as making it up, or prescribed something else to manage that symptom. Go with you own instinct. Keep your children strong by giving them the right nutrition, encouraging them to exercise and adopt healthy active lifestyles. I wish you well and take courage in your decision.

I am for it as many children are alive because of it, not that many years ago children died from chicken pox, measles etc
And both my kids had their vaccinations and they are health and no it will not cause Autism

Yes I do, thimerisol which is used as a preservative is 49% ethyl mercury a brain toxin, which never leaves the body. The shots also contain aluminum, another poison. Some children are more resistant and it has been shown that boys are more vulnerable. I just wonder... since when did childhood diseases like mumps and chicken pox need vaccinating against? And how come in my childhood (we were vaccinated less) a kid with cancer was as rare as a dodo bird and now it is common? Something is very wrong, and this is not the way it is supposed to be.

I think it extremely important to vaccinate children. However, there isn't enough evidence to support the alligation.

I am for it in cases of DIRE disease, but not for things like Chicken Pox. I don't believe it causes Autism, but I DO believe it contributes to a whole HOST of auto immune disorders. Our immune systems need practice to stay in shape and if they never have a disease to practice on they will turn against our own bodies, in the forms of allergies, asthma, etc. Have you ever noticed that a sterile environment brings up sickly children?

For. And I'm sure they've proven this whole vaccination/autism link to be bullshit.
