Get nolstagic, think back to simpler, carefree times.
Often it's my whole life ago. That makes it better.
I think it's worse for people of my age ( 50's) and above, Most songs we have heard for the second, third, or fourth time. It also extends to movies too, I particularly laugh at remakes of "king kong" and "titanic", it doesn't matter which way you dress it up, or add the latest technology, the Monkey always dies at the end, and the ship sinks! lol.
I'm hearing songs that I grew up listening to on the local oldies station lately. It makes me feel old.
I combat that feeling by listening to and rapping along with Public Enemy or Social Distortion. I won't be hearing them on the oldies station any time soon.
i remember my ex......too bad.....
Sad that kids nowadays dont realize that there is far far better music around than the nauseating drivel that comes out now.
That there are people graduating from college now and in 25 years it'll happen to them. Except with Gangham Style....makes me feel better. ( sorry no spellcheck for that word)
Now I can't get that Duran Duran song out of my head, thanks!
Lets see...1992. Well, I don't think of it that way unless someone points it out. I saw on the news they mentioned the album "thriller" was 30 years old..that made me stop and think
See kids thats what real music is ...
Then you realise it was the Spice Girls and decide to shut up :s
