I used to chew my nails often. Then I made a point to paint my nails, and always mind when I chewed them.
I'm still working on the bad habit of picking them, rather than filing them when they're uneven. But I'll get there.

I try to make habit of putting on carmax so it's not all dry and I don't pull at the skin but sometimes I'll lose my carmax or I'll do it without noticing
