    U have to separate friendship from work so treat them as coworkers not as friends

    work and friendship aren't the same, i mean at work he must consider them as strangers not friends, out of work he must treat them as he was treating them before promotion.

    be the same person you were before the promotion... unless you're on a power trip. ;-) then it's a natural transition.
