How do you make a roof? .?

I know how to make the 2x4's into walls and hook them together, but making a peaked roof blocks me, honest.

If you have to ask, perhaps you should leave it to someone else.

Or, go do the appropriate research. Understanding that you have to make the frame before you can achieve what you know as a roof would be a good start.

Are you making a roof for home, shed, storage? what type and style are you wanting? Metal ,shingles, tile, gable, flat, hip, cross gable,mansard...? You can also look in your area for assistance with roofing, or HGTV is a great sight to get answers on all home needs.

go to the hardawre store - they have plans and kits for just about every kind of truss - you can truss in them - lol
