poetry is tough when your trying to formulate something that logically sounds good while emotion is blocking your logic, its easier to find a song that sounds romantic and use that lol

you have to feel it, and keep within the form, context, and the style of the poem that you are writing.
I have lost the ability to write poems
no longer do the words form a fluid and picturesque meaning
my life shall go on empty,
without prose, without beauty of timing and meter
yet I shall still exist in the lonely recesses of cold definition,
Manuals, text books and the occasional cook book
as my only literary sensibilityLike (1)

You don't' think about it. You jut imagine what is good or beautiful in your eyes and then relate that in some way to a person.

Manifests
In wretched razors sweet caress

There's no "proper" way to write poetry. You just express how you feel.

Ingredients: Elements of love, a good quality pen/pencil, piece of paper(s) and your imagination. Experience in reading/writing love poems will be a plus. If you need complex words, I would recommend using internet for that. :)
Hope you write a good one. Best of Luck.
