Unfortunately, in every job atmosphere, there are people like that, who gossip and talk down about other people. There's nothing you can do about it, but ignore it or report it. People act like little children all the time in the workplace. It's despictable to have to be around those people, but aside from leaving that job, it's just something that you have to tolerate for the most part.
