It feels like you are flying through the air at a million miles an hour never slowing down, until you run into a bird, then you fall for a while, then if you are lucky, you hit an updraft and float up again where and start to again fly just at a comfortable, controllable speed. You still run into storms sometimes along the way, but when the clouds dissipate you get to see how beautiful it all is and really enjoy the ride.

It feels wonderful. It is like nothing in the world. There are no words to describe how great it is.

Love is different things to different people. For me? Every time I saw her, my stomach would churn ( butterflies), she made me smile all the time, just being with her made me smile.
As others have said you can't put it into words, your trying to describe a feeling
But
It's like the core of your body clenches, wound up tight and infused with a radiant heat, sometimes, just sometimes your muscles ache. As if your body has been through a wringer but it's just the rush of endorphins every time you see her.
And what I've just said does not come close to how it feels.
Sorry
:p

Contentment, security and you think about their needs and happiness above your own but still feel safe enough to put your own needs first ocassionally. Physical relationship feels like coming home and you tend to feel very comfortable in their presence, unjudged and accepted for being who you are - That's how it is for me anyway.
Infatuation that's a totally different thing, lots of people confuse that with love when they haven't experienced it. Then the person gets under your skin, you are thinking about them constantly and time is a huge deal, when they last phoned or saw you, when they will phone next. They can treat you terribly but you don't see it, basically, your whole life is about them and your emotions are all over the place. With real love, you feel a lot more settled, although you can experience feelings like infatuation still, it's not just about them, it's about you too. Love is reciprocated and the world doesn't stop turning when you put yourself first and see your own friends without them.

If you can explain it using mere words then you haven't truly experienced love
