Life, business etc... is about competition. I like to beat others at their own game.

Well, If they started the lying, why should you be honest?

That is what I said I would do. I prefer to beat others at their game, not mine. If their game is lying, I will beat them by lying. They think they will win because they will lie. I will then beat them by doing exactly what they are doing (or try to anyway, no one is perfect).

I never enjoy lying, and would rather not be put in any situation where to do anything else but lie is to give haters what they want, but it happens.

Thanks, It just makes me feel bad but this business associate has lied, and lied and lied to me and I have been honest with her and well, It is always to her advantage that I am honest so I lied to her today.

its not easy mars, but sometimes its suicidal to tell the truth, and when the decks fixed against honesty there is no other way to get what should be given anyway.good luck,do what you have to,because you have to :)
