everyone just passes by. i wish EP was less like real life.

PUT ON YOUR CAPS LOCK AND ACT LIKE YOUR HOLLERIN AT THE WHOLE PLACE....Well, it is annoying, but it would garner attention...Then say you're a lesbian/gay who believes in abortion and practices polyamory in your pagan compound....You'll instantly have a line in the sand: those who love ya and those who can't stand ya. lmao! :D seriously, just write answers to questions and join groups you like..Sooner or later people will chat with you. :)

you get noticed by being an active member of ep. make friends, share stories & experiences, answer questions, ask questions, confess, blog....

In life as well as EP, it is the heart that is most important.
If your heart is truly open to others, theirs can and may become open to you. But if your heart is closed, how can anyone open up to you?
I would recommend thinking less about what would be for your own benefit and more about what would be for the benefit of all.
People will admire your generosity of spirit and want to get to know you better.
Don't let yourself get lost in the process though. A healthy balance is required.

Well find some thing out there that you fee deeply about...ANd write about it....

Or how about a funny thing that happened....Or something different that you did....

M...ou would nt believe just how much attention that I got...When I told stories about how I livefd on the streets for two years...and no one knew...Other than the ones that I wanted to.....And how I made it all fun

Just take a deep breath and jump in head first, you wont drown. Get involved and adopting experiences that pertain to you and post comments or stories. post comments or stories and post comments or stories (meaning often)

I have only been here several weeks and that is what I did and to my surprise I did not drown.

I am sorry to say but msyoo is right- people don't realize it but they unconsciously react to avatars and the people with the most intriguing ones get the most attention.

posting this question is one good way. looking at other people's stuff and making comments works pretty good. show that you payed attention while you were reading and put some thought into the comments you make. and if you see someone you like from what you see on their profile, write them a note and let them know. good luck!

seekingom is right. when i first started, i did a lot of observing, browsing, getting the feel of things and the people, etc. before long, i was commenting on stories here and there, getting involved in pirate adventures, making friends, adding experiences, etc. you gotta put yourself out there. it was hard for me at first, but now...i don't even think twice about it all now lol
