How fair is this?

I think that famous people are not always more special than non-famous people as non-famous people are often as much if not MORE talented than those famous yet are never recognized for it, and many of these people are outside of mainstream society and have less friends than others and a family that shuns them and maybe financial difficulties. When they die from the same reasons as a famous person it is looked down on rather than excused automatically. Trying to cause this to be fair would be next to impossible.
How do I know this? i sort fo fit into that group... :

some people lead a life that deserves to be recognized as one who made life better for mankind . i'm not saying Ted Kennedy did or didn't deserve this.

Big personas regularly in the media are like people everyone "knows". People only a small group of individuals really know are just not going to get the same treatment, but in reality, identical treatment from the people who really mattered to them. :)
