I think anyone can have a good sense of humor and still be miserable on the inside.

I don't like someone with a sinister or sadistic sense of humor, but honestly, I prefer serious people who have serious purposes in their lives, so if on any given bad day they have no humor, that's better than being around a bunch of light-hearted clowns who don't take anything in life seriously and just crack jokes.

I think a good sense of humor is very important. Life is hard and full of pitfalls, without humor I couldn't get through. Of course there are some days when humor is very hard to come by.
