Honestly no. I perfer to help people I see in distress locally. I try to help those in need around me. After Haiti, I don't give money to charity. I might give groceries to a shelter.
I do have a heart. I subscribe to the Samaritans, Help the Aged and the NSPCC (cruelty to children). I do donate to World Vision too.
If we feel about the poor and needy then we need to show it too. A token at least.
I try to help hands on. Donating money v time
seems easier and not as rewarding.
If I'm available and I can help , anytime
I have raised a lot of money over the years for charity and enjoyed some challenges along the way.
