I believe that relationships should start as friendship.
Then it blossoms into being best friends.
Then, she being your best friend, you care about her so much that you want to give her a gift to show her how much of a best friend she is.
Then, as the ultimate gift, you purposely "tickle her romantic tummy" ....knowing it drives her crazy ...and this intimate pleasure you're shooting up her spine, becomes the ultimate gift showing you care.
Then you show her you want do this the rest of your lives. So you carry her over the threshold of marriage.
Romance, I think, has an important place .....but I think it all comes down to a solid friendship.
