In Eastern Canada we're having a ball, great weather, Canadian beer, gals etc. Batten down those hatches. In any event keep secure.

From my side of the Atlantic, I can only hope for no fatalities or injuries. I heard about it on BBC Radio Four news this evening: a hurricane about to meet not one but two South-moving cold air systems, a combination liable to produce about three days of ferocious weather.
We can only be grateful we do not have hurricanes in the NE Atlantic. Violent storms occasionally, but never hurricanes. Though the British Isles has a surprisingly large number of cyclones, luckily mostly very small and short-lived.
