i would rather drink it, seems a waist just to throw it down the toilet, and i dont like needles
Why are you putting alcohol in your blood and urine?
dunno but i still feel drunk from last night :S
Supposedly DPS has a 4-6 month delay in processing blood alcohol tests.....would they still be accurate after that length of time? And how is the blood stored?
u lose around a ounce of alchohol per hour so u do the math
How long alcohol remains in the blood will depend on the condition of the liver and kidney. the amount of alcohol consumed, rate of alcohol consumption, and body weight. Body weight is important, because larger individuals have more blood and fluid volume. The general rule is that the aveage healthy body can handle the consumption of a single drink per hour rather well, without causing one to become euphoric, alcohol usually cannot be detected after 8 hours of last consumption.
Consumption of alcohol to the point of euphoria 12 % (usually three drinks in less than two hours) it takes about 14-16 hours after last consumption before it can no longer be detected in blood. Consumption to a level of sedative 25% can create problems of balance and vision. It often takes 24 hours before blood alcohol levels cannot be detected. However, there is the issue of alcohol breathe.
Excessive rapid consumption can alcohol poisoning a alcohol level of over 50%, can lead to coma and death.
Urine is a not a reliable source to determine alcohol levels in the blood, because depending on the level of fluids consumed the alcohol will be diluted and also when someone urinates alcohol exposure to the air causes the level to be reduced. Alcohol levels in the blood will even dissipate rapidly when exposed to air and the sample is not kept cold. The blood cells will start converting the alcohol into other products, that is why most labs require alcohol blood samples to be tested within an hour of collection and within a half hour of opening the sample.
