    I broke my 5th metatarsal on my foot 1 year ago and after 1 weeks in a boot cast it totally came apart. So they put me in a leg cast for 3 weeks and back in a boot cast for 2 more weeks. Then it was healed. Normally that kind of break has to be operated on.

    i was under the impression tendons take longer than bone and bone can take a couple of weeks ... could be wrong but thats what i vaguely remember
