How long does it take for your hormones to return back to normal following a miscarriage?
I had a miscarriage back in mid Oct at 9 wks. I was advised a d&c or frequent blood work if I decided against this, but the medical bills go high enough. Since I could no longer afford the procedures the docs were trying to sell me, I took it into my own hands and let it go naturally and monitor myself with pregnancy tests. It took about a month for the bleeding the finally stop and finally had a negative preg test a week after the bleeding. Decided to go on pill when my period returns, but it never has. Or has it? Two weeks after my miscarriage bleeding stopped, I had light bleeding for almost a week. Since I felt it was way too soon, I assumed it was additional cleansing. Haven't bled since. Still no period. I am also getting positive pregnancy test again. Could I have had a period and be pregnant again? Is it possible to unknowingly have additional material inside of me after all this time w/o complications. Can't afford docs unless emergency. Help!
