How long does it take to cook a rack of baby back ribs? I just put them in the over at 6pm on 400 degrees.

    I have a friend who is a gourmet chef and has won prizes for his ribs. He said that the numbers should multiply to 900. So, at three hundred degrees, it would be 3 hours. You have it at 400, so how long would it take to get to 900? 2 and 1/4 hours.

    I usually smoke them on 250 for about 4 hours. The slower they cook the more tender they will be.

    I usually cook them at a lower temp for about two hours, I also put water in the bottom of the roasting pan to keep them tender
