    it's not permanent, and not a big deal, as far as i know. a friend of the family had it a couple of times...

    in her case, i forget, but i suppose it was just a few weeks. somebody posted a link. way more useful than anything i can tell you

    It varies daramatically. My friend Dunc had it for about a year if i recall correctly. Quite severe case too. My mum on the other hand was 80 when she developed it and it never really went away right up to when she popped off aged 86. Some people have it for a few weeks or a lifetime i believe.

    Bells palsy does go away. Could take up to a year, but normally not.

    Prognosis is usually pretty good ranging from 4 weeks to a few months for a high percentage of patients......
