How long is the housing market going to be in a slump?
My husband and I want to purchase a home but won't be truly ready until about a year from now. We don't want to miss out on the current price tags though. Should we go ahead and purchase a home now or will the market still be this way a year from now?

Purchase when you can afford it and not a moment sooner. Relax, deals on homes will always be there, regardless of the 'market' status.

The housing market improves on March 23rd (around 2ish) but the stock market will take a little longer - should be up in early June. Your best bet is the lottery this weekend, 39 27 4 15 32 40, bonus ball 2. Oh, and take an umbrella tomorrow.

If you watch it close, you could look for the time when things just start to improve. It seems that housing values move pretty slow. Much slower than say, stocks. In the meantime, bank your down payment.

Keep piling up cash. The key to a good deal in any market is the ability to have patience.
