i never really look at the exp. date. i see if the bread has mold or is smelly.

piscesgal	Posted Jul 27th, 2009 at 12:40PM I wouldn't eat it if it's moldy. We own a bagel shop, and we don't use any preservatives in our bagels, so they tend to 'turn' faster than store bought, but we slice and freeze them, and they last a long time like that. Rated: +1Vote for this!

runnagirrl	Posted Jul 27th, 2009 at 7:42PM usually no more than four or five. after that i find it starts to get hard and gross. often we freeze it before it expires so it lasts longer. Rated: +1Vote for this!
