Whether we believe it or not...it is a fact...many many of them...

When you grow old and forget something you can swear you were never told or never experienced it...add death a few times to that and you have a past long long forgotten doesn't mean it never happened... like the sun the truth shines all the time when the clouds shut out its light...

I don't believe in reincarnation. In my opinion, we are the end result of our current environment and our ancient ancestries. In a sense, it's reincarnation. But, not really, since we are still individuals that can make our own decisions. Only the essence of our ancestors lives in us that gives us our character, and sometimes the feeling of dejavu. But, in my own opinion, I don't think we have past lives.

Im not totally convinced about reincarnation or past lives! Another theory is that There may also be the possibility that memory itself may be transferred through our genes!

What you may think as familiar or you feel connected to someone without reason , may in fact be an experience experienced by an ansestor of yours! Hense the accurate past life regression memory!

i do but it's just a belief as we dont know for certain. i think that we are all bound to the universe through the law of karma- action and reaction and this goes on until we stop perpetuating the cyle (i'm not even going to try to get in to that here! :))

Yes. I had a spiritual awakening seven years ago that revolved around group reincarnation and rock music. I wrote a book titled "I Found All the Parts: Healing the Soul through Rock 'n' Roll" about my journey, and have concluded that reincarnation is not about belief but about having an awareness that some aspect of our consciousness inhabits numerous bodies to heal and evolve. I explore lots of this in my book, but ultimately I don't think reincarnation, like God, is something one can prove or disprove. To me it's more about raising one's consciousness and coming to the realization that time doesn't exist in a linear fashion. Supposedly, there aren't any past lives...everything happens simultaneously, and we perceive from our physical mind that there is a past, present and future. From our soul's perspective, it's all now. That's the only way I can understand how I knew I wrote a book seven years ago, and then amazing synchronicities unfolded which gave me something to write about!

This really is a fascinating subject, especially when explored through the context of rock 'n' roll. Think about all the fans still attracted to their favorite bands after several decades. Might it be in part because some fans have known the band in other lifetimes, and are coming together to heal from a past life trauma? That's part of what I was guided to share in my book. Does it mean that everyone who is a long-time fan of a band has to have had a past life with them? No. But based upon my research, some uber fans probably have a past-life (or karmic) connection.

I'll shut up now because I could go on forever about this subject.

Sure. You can tell where and when your previous incarnations were by what you are drawn to in this lifetime.

For example, if you are really attracted to the ancient Egyptian culture or perhaps Victorian England, you probably passed several incarnations there in that period.

Also, many of the same people you are close to in this lifetime, you were close to in previous lifetimes. This is because we have lessons to learn and unresolved issues to
resolve with them.

For example, maybe your mother/father was your daughter /son in a past life and maybe you are having a hard time with them in this life because you were hard on them in a previous one. At some point you have to call a truce and forgive each other thereby stopping the cycle of karmic retribution to each other.

Eventually, when all your lessons are completed, you will reach enlightenment. Then you can either choose to reincarnate to come back and help others in the earth realm or you can decide to go to another realm.
(In Buddhism, there are a variety of realms or heavens).

Until you reach enlightenment however, you don't have a
conscious choice. Your spirit reincarnates according to the laws of karma. If you helped a lot of people, did a lot of selfless deeds and strived to improve yourself , you come back in a better situation. Also, the reverse is true.

i have always believed in reincarnation. my grandfather was a spiritual healer and apparently the first thing he said to my mother when he saw me as a baby is "that is an old soul". lots of people in my life have called me "an old soul". i was always very mature for my age , had an old head on my shoulders, but mostly i have to say i feel so so old. i feel so tiard like i have lived a thousand lifetimes and i really would like a rest. maybe i am a really slow learner. i feel like how many more times do i have to come back here? what lesson must i learn before i am let in the pearly gates. maybe i was really very bad in a previouse life and i am working off my bad karma.

they were probably our loved and hated ones once upon a time.

I am one, and know of quite a few lives that I've had on Earth Planet. Some of them are backed up by circumstantial evidence from skills or likes in this life; some are just scenes that I or my clairvoyant wife saw.

Although the idea of reincarnation at first sounds appealing ... upon further consideration it seems to me like it would be aggravating ... I mean to have to keep growing up all over again and such .... Where's the benefit to that?

Anyway, I found a verse in the Bible that I think has answered this for me anyway... It says "It is appointed unto man once to die and then the judgement". I think that's pretty clear. Not as mysterious and alluring ... but true.

Of coarse it exists.. and I agree about karma ...it is a carry forward of previous lives and present life... (check out do you believe in the notion of karma) And don't me tell for the non-believer's which I'm sure there are a"few" that you have not experienced de Ja vu before because then I wouldn't believe you..but than again you could be a new soul... with no experience or knowledge and that would explain away some of you...

I do, and have since I first heard of the theory when I was a young child. I knew that I had been someone else before in another place. I have had enough recall of a few lives to convince me. I also feel that some of the talents and abilities that I have had their origin elsewhere. The same applies for people that I love and have felt so drawn too from the first moment. I don't have to convince anyone else.

I don't believe in reincarnation, but I sometimes wish I did, and oddly enough I sometimes feel like I've lived before. I think I'm just weird, lol. And like GwennaJane said; "It is appointed unto man once to die and then the judgement".

i like to think rationally and think it doesnt add up, but then i have things that happened to me as a child which i question. I used to dream about being a child slave and in ancient egypt, i knew nothing about slavery at the time or egypt come to that, when i mentioned this to my father he got most upset and wouldnt talk about it. I think that perhaps when we have memories of past lives it is possibley something which has been somehow etched on our dna from our previous relatives. Like it then results in an instinct..if that makes any sense. So you may have the memories of someone else on your chain...its a possiblilty. After all what is an instinct?.

I am unaware of a past life, but that isn't incompatible with having had one.

To summarize, I don't know. Reincarnation would make a lot of sense though.
